The Student Council is the main governing group of the student body. We represent the students on a variety of levels and serve as a line of communication to administration. We strive to make the St. Gerard Catholic High School experience as enjoyable as possible by improving all aspects of student life, from the overall environment of the school to curriculum and instruction.

Members of our Student Council are elected from their peers. The president is chosen from the Senior Class and the vice-president is chosen from the Junior Class. President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer are voted on from the entire student body, and Class Representatives are chosen from peers in each grade level. Student Council elections are held in September.
